Hi there! We’re Kristina and Chris, Caden’s parents.

We met in 2008 while attending Pacific Lutheran University in Washington State. From our very first date—indoor rock climbing, pizza at The Rock, and a midnight walk along Ruston Way in Tacoma—we’ve been inseparable.

We love exploring together, whether it’s somewhere new or a familiar place we love returning to. Some of our best conversations happen on long drives—talking about life, our dreams, and whatever we’re navigating at the time.
Being in nature, especially near the water, is where we
feel most at peace.

We currently live in Gig Harbor, WA with our two Holland lop rabbits, Finn and Amelia.

Chris is the woodworker, and Kristina is the potter.

Creating has been part of who we are for as long as we can remember. Whether it was drawing, painting, pottery, origami, baking, woodworking, crochet, 3D design, or whatever creative project captured our attention, we've always been happiest when we're making something.

No matter the medium, creating is more than a hobby. It's how we slow down, stay present, work through challenges, and express ourselves. It brings us joy, sparks our curiosity, and reminds us that growth often happens one small step at a time. We love the process of starting with an idea and seeing where it leads, embracing mistakes along the way and discovering what's possible.

We created this space to honor our son, Caden, by doing what we love and sharing the gift of courage he left behind—a reminder that even through loss, beauty can still be found.
